Badger Drewes
Owner
Badger, aka Artie, began the business in January 2000. For 20 years prior to opening NHRE, he worked in the restaurant equipment industry including the original NHRE.
Badger lives in Bedford with his wife Sim and enjoys spending time at their camp in Pittsburg, NH snowmobiling and ATV’ing or out enjoying a nice ride on the Harley’s. His greatest joy is his grandchildren which you can tell by the walls filled with pictures in his office. He has also been a professional arm-wrestler, holding several State, National and World titles for the past 45 years. He enjoys coaching anyone interested in the sport and passing along his winning techniques and experiences.
Doug Flagg
Doug began working for NHRE in 2005. Prior to this, he worked in the restaurant equipment industry for 18 years. Doug began with NHRE when we were small and has been an integral part of assisting us in growing the business to where we are today. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of restaurant equipment and will be one of the sales team members that assists you.
Doug lives in Berwick, ME with his family. He is an avid hunter and is happiest when his 2 sons are spending that time with him. On weekends, Doug spends his time in Farmington, ME where there is a family apple orchid. Off season, he’s pruning trees and working on hard ciders to get ready for the tasting room where wood fired pizza and hard cider is served in the summer and into the fall. But, the true apple of Doug’s eye is spending time with any of his 4 grandchildren.
Scott Gerrish
Scott came to work at NHRE in 2013 after closing his restaurant equipment business, Gerrish and Peters of Lawrence, Mass of which he had been a part of since the age of 17. NHRE is extremely fortunate to have Scott as a part of our company as he brings over 45 years of experience with him. Scott has a wealth of knowledge unparalleled in the industry. He is a member of our sales team that will always welcome you when you walk through the door and assist with your restaurant equipment needs.
Scott lives in Southern NH with his wife Leah. During his free time, he enjoys spending time at his property in VT to unwind. He also enjoys a nice sunny day to take a ride on his motorcycle.
Vinny Nault
Vinny began working at NHRE back in 2008 bring in over 15 years of equipment repair service experience at that time. With the addition of Vinny, the new service of on-the-road equipment repair service began. He is extremely professional and brings back old school ethics and reliability you can count on.
Vinny lives in Milford with his wife Sue. He is an avid 80’s Rock music fan with his all-time favorite rock bank being KISS. He actually has a room in his house dedicated solely to KISS memorabilia. In Vinny’s spare time, he enjoys playing the bass guitar and has spent many nights playing in various local bands.
Bob Connor
Bob, aka Bear, came to NHRE in 2013 following a 20-year career at Gerrish and Peters in Lawrence, MA. Bear is a dedicated shop foreman with duties including the in-house shop mechanical services, equipment refurbishing, parts inventory and customer deliveries.
Bear lives in Weare, NH with his wife Tina. Bear and his wife built and operated Nana’s Snack Shack in Weare for 10 years. During the Summer, he enjoys spending time with family and friends camping in his motor home. He is also an avid builder of Street Rods.
Jennifer Carignan
Jennifer, aka Jen, began with NHRE is 2020 following a 20-year career in the restaurant industry. Her primary responsibilities are in the front office and because of her restaurant experience, she is an asset to our sales team assisting with customer services and stocking inventory.
Jen lives in Manchester. For the past 10 years, she has been a volunteer and been on the board at the Live and Let Live Animal Sanctuary in Chichester where she assists with working with the animals; feeding, walking and cleaning. She enjoys camping in the summer time, loves to read mystery novels and listening to country music.
